Exploring early stages AI Image Generation
Summary
As AI rolled out in full force in 2022/23 I started to explore art generation using some of the early models of Stable Diffusion and other AI companies.This brief experiment ran for a few months and I found that there was lots of potential in using these large models to generate genuinely interesting images. After this AI image generation became a key tool in aspects of my businesses.
I made several hundred images, mixing many forms of media via prompts, and drawing on styles of my favourite painters like Zdzisław Beksiński. Ultimately I remain unsure how to appreciate these vs the original arts, but it was an interesting experiment.
